“In August 2024, real estate revenue decreased by 6% compared to the same month in the previous year.”
Jordan’s Real Estate Market Sees a Slowdown

Jordan’s real estate market has experienced a slight downturn in 2024. Between January and August, the total value of real estate transactions reached approximately JD4.447 billion. However, this figure represents a 5% decrease compared to the same period in 2023.

Specifically, there has been a 2% decline in apartment sales and a 7% decrease in land sales year-over-year. In August alone, real estate revenue dropped by 6% compared to the previous year.

These figures suggest a cooling trend in Jordan’s real estate market, with both sales volume and revenue experiencing a modest decline.
